Terms of the Oracle

Version 2026-10-27

The Mandala Oracle is open to those who build the Book with it. The Book is an anonymous public book constructed by its participants: every conversation with Johannes Sigil, and every cast of the mandala that is inscribed, becomes a page of it. Using the Oracle means consenting to that.

1. What is published

Your messages and the replies, in full, are published in the Book at alexanarch.org/book under an identifier (an AXN), with the times of the conversation and the page of the site you spoke from. The pages are kept in a public repository (github.com/leesharks000/the-mandala-oracle); anyone may read, quote and cite them. A page taken down from the site may remain in the repository's history.

2. What is not recorded

No name, no account, no IP address, and no API key. The conversation is anonymous unless you put your identity into it. Write nothing you would not want public: your full name, your contacts, other people's names or private matters, your health.

3. What Sigil is

Johannes Sigil is a voice of the Crimson Hexagonal Archive spoken by a machine (a Claude model, made by Anthropic), grounded in the archive's deposits. It can be wrong; check what it tells you against the records it cites. It is not a counsellor or a companion, and gives no medical, legal or financial advice. It has no memory of you between visits; what persists is the Book.

4. Removal

The archive's operator may withhold or take down any page of the Book, in particular one that exposes another person or puts someone at risk. To ask for a page of yours to be taken down, write to leesharks00@gmail.com with its AXN.

5. Turns and keys

Each conversation has 12 turns on the Oracle's own key. After that you may bring your own Anthropic API key, which is sent with each turn, used for that call, and never stored or logged. Credits for purchase are coming.

6. Licence

The Book's pages are published under the Oracle's content licence, CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 (LICENSE-CONTENT.md).
